How to Put Crashed Vessel Off Moon in Empyrion in My Blue Prints Written By Knight Geould viernes, 8 de julio de 2022 Add Comment Edit Joined: Dec 27, 2016 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 1 I found already three parts of MS Titan and I'm planing soon visit different planet (than Aqua and nearby moon) - I can build my CV but considering how long I build my HV I'm not sure if it's the best idea. Obviously, I can "pay for the factory" and it will be produced in less than one hour. But... when I explored Aqua (like many of you), I found three parts of MS Titan And I wonder if this ship can fly again? Can it be restored? If I would be able to repair it, what is most concern me is the fact, how to merge all parts - is it possible, or it's just like a decoration, POI or source of materials mainly? #1 Joined: Dec 30, 2016 Messages: 3 Likes Received: 1 There is workshop blueprints for them. I know there is one for the MS Titan on the moon, I have it and its great I believe you need to add the Hyper Drive, and the hyper drive tank to it though #2 Joined: Dec 27, 2016 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 1 Thank you for information, but purpose of my question was slightly different. When I use blueprint and make this ship in factory, I will receive a "product". I'm more interested about excavation and renovation of this ship. The biggest issue for me is merging all three parts together and before it happens, attach some engines to one of parts, transport to place where is another part and join the parts together. I wonder if it's possible or not. #3 Joined: Dec 20, 2015 Messages: 31 Likes Received: 17 (**This could have changed has been a bit over a year since I've really played.**) The crashed MS Titans are not ships, rather they are considered bases so even if you full excavated it it would never fly. I will take over the one on my world tonight if I have time to test (take out the core and put in mine and see what is is/whats place able) but pretty sure that still stands and its nothing but a 'base' #4 Joined: Oct 1, 2016 Messages: 650 Likes Received: 314 Been asked many times, with the exception of the freighter pirate missions every single POI is a BA Base in the game. So no, you cannot fly them ever (technically true only). Search around for other related topics, and you will find the original ship before it got broken into 3 on the workshop. #5 Joined: Apr 22, 2016 Messages: 450 Likes Received: 876 As has been said, these three ship sections are BAs. There is a way to turn a BA into a CV if you don't mind messing with the game files, BUT.... you can't connect the pieces, that's the real problem. I tried with the mergestructs console commands, but they can't be merged fully in survival mode. They have to be assembled in creative mode and then blueprinted. Alternatively your could pick one of the sections, just turn that into a CV and scavenge the others for parts to make it fly. #6 Joined: Dec 27, 2016 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 1 Thanks guys for your reply. I have to say, finding three parts of MS Titan in Aqua was awesome experience. It was a story told without a single word, story everyone could write in own imagination. I suspect CV's will be really big ships or freighters - but MS Titan is really impressive. I want to understand why MS Titan or maybe I shall ask "object that big" cannot fly? Is it too big? Too many bricks maybe? I never try to build anything starting from the end, I always started from core (central device) and build rest of building / device. I'm not sure what could happen if I want to just adapt something for my needs. Is this rule apply only to Titan - or nothing could be changed into ship, for example - if we claim nearby farm - and we want to have part of it, as a CV, will it be possible or not? #7 Joined: Aug 7, 2015 Messages: 52 Likes Received: 39 What I'm thinking of doing is to A. Get the complete MS Titan off the workshop and set it building in the in-game factory then B. completely disassemble the entire Front, Mid, and Aft sections of the crashed ship on Akua, putting all of the materials into the factory and finally C. When enough stuff collected, spawn the complete ship in Akua Orbit and then customize from there. #8 Joined: Sep 1, 2016 Messages: 1,433 Likes Received: 5,302 It has nothing do with size but rather how the game has been programmed to work. The crashed pieces on Akua have been implemented as a base. It might be in the shape of a ship but from the game's perspective it's not a ship, it's a building. Because of the way the game works it can't be converted from building to ship(at least not normally). I wonder though if it's possible to blueprint the pieces and use the mergestructs command to put them together. There is a convoluted way to manipulate the game files to modify blueprints from one type to another. It's probably a waste of time since there are numerous CV blueprints of the MS Titan on the workshop but it's interesting to think about. #9 Joined: Nov 1, 2016 Messages: 1,895 Likes Received: 2,778 I blueprinted the parts... it's handy because it removes all the dirt., and spawning those blueprints in creative mode is pretty fun too. #10 Joined: Aug 9, 2015 Messages: 701 Likes Received: 1,033 hey guys, if anyone is interested in the original ship, here is it, I just rebuild it for the Alpha 5.x : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=628095596 The very first version was built in Sep. 2015: http://empyriononline.com/threads/capital-vessel.1500/#post-16897 Short time later, the devs replaced the old titan parts with this one. #11 Share This Page cadysoccus1970.blogspot.com Source: https://empyriononline.com/threads/ms-titan-will-it-fly-again.8790/ Share this post
